A little over a year ago, we met a young man who turned out to be a man with a big heart and offered to give cataract surgery to one of our patients, which we choose.
We decided on one very dear and sympathetic patient who, despite Parkinson’s disease, showed a fighting and positive spirit and from the first meeting with us showed a desire to remove cataracts.
After the procedure, the patient states that her life has changed for the better and she feels safer in her daily functioning.
Now she goes for walks more often because she feels more stable, spends more time reading and solving crossword puzzles as one of her favorite hobbies.
